You know when you have those not so nice edges on some of your carnations, you pluck them with your fingers or take a pair of regular scissors to them. Then you don't like either look, well... in the scrapbook isle or on the Fiskar scissor site there are "Victorian" and "ripple edged scissors. These work great on cleaning up those edges on carnations.
I am also testing out using them to make decorative edges on the flat leaves in arrangements (like aspidistra leaves and such). I will update this when I see how it works.
Update--- I used them on Spath. leaves and after 4 days after cutting there is no stress to the cut edges.
